While still studying business administration, Rainer Schumacher already ran the controlling department of a German midsize engineering company. With the successful completion of his degree, Mr. Schumacher started his career in the consulting business. For several years he was in leading positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers and IBM, responsible for national and international projects and customer relations. Greater personal responsibility and a broader scope for action caused him to change to a midsize Management-IT-consultancy, in which he managed the departments for sales, marketing and partner management. Since 2013 Rainer Schumacher is the managing director of xitee, a midsize IT company with sites in Prague and Frankfurt/Main. xitee offers IT-consulting and –development services, supporting companies to become more efficient and more flexible through modernization of old or development of new IT applications.
